AIA plays an active role in shaping the accountancy profession through consultation with government, regulators, standard-setters and other parties. AIA works alongside a team of experts in its consultation work and where members’ interests are affected or changes relating to the accountancy profession are proposed, AIA responds.

AIA also encourage members to submit individual responses to consultations where appropriate.
