Annual General Meeting
The seventy-ninth Annual General Meeting of the AIA was held at the St Ermin’s Hotel, 2 Caxton Street, London, SW1H 0QW on Thursday 22 September 2011 at 11:00am for the following purposes:
- To receive the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2010.
- To elect Members of the Council.
- To appoint Auditors and to fix their remuneration.
The Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2010 were presented to the AGM and these were unanimously accepted and approved. Robson Laidler LLP were reappointed as the Association’s Auditors.
Elections
At the AGM the following five members retired by rotation in accordance with the provisions of Article 46 of the Articles of Association: Joseph Block, Leslie Bradley, Richard Demeritte, Andrew Lamb and Philip Turnbull. All five were re-elected under Article 48 of the Articles of Association.
At the subsequent meeting of the AIA Council on 23 September 2011, Andrew Lamb was re-elected as President and Maggie Timoney and Leslie Bradley were re-elected as joint Vice-Presidents.
