The conference has been designed to bring together leaders in financial reporting from the private sector, regulators and members of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), as well as accounting professionals and others with an interest in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).

The conference offers a unique opportunity to be updated on the active projects and plans of the IASB by those setting IFRSs. IASB presenters include:

Technical break-out sessions conducted by IASB members and their technical staff provide a forum to discuss major projects on the IASB's active agenda in more detail.

Pre-conference Special Interest Sessions

These sessions are for smaller groups with a special interest in implementing new IFRSs that must be applied in 2013.

These intensive half-day sessions will be held before the conference. There will be special interest sessions on the following topics:

IFRS 12 Disclosure of Interests in Other Entities
