Some accountants may need to be reminded of the general framework of Hong Kong taxation and its recent development. The speaker being both a tax practitioner and a constant lecturer in Hong Kong taxation will share with you some Hong Kong taxation fundamentals leading you to certain landmark decided tax cases in Hong Kong.
Mr Henry Ha served as the president of AIA HK Branch in the years 1991-1994, and 1999. He is at present the General Consultant of the Hong Kong Branch. Apart from being a Fellow Member of the Association and a practising Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong, Mr Ha is also a Chartered Management Accountant and a Certified Tax Adviser.
Academically, he holds an MBA degree and an LL.B (Hons) degree.
Henry is currently practising at his own firm serving as auditor to his client companies. He has also branched out to take up litigation support functions by counselling with lawyers and acting as expert witness.
