Cushman & Wakefield Valuation Advisory Services (HK) Limited (高緯評值及專業顧問有限公司) specializes in providing business & property valuation services for financial reporting, M&A projects and IPO exercises. However, auditors often face difficulties in interpreting valuation reports, as models and jargons may look unfamiliar. This seminar highlights the basics of business valuation, including different methodologies and how they are applied.

Mr Derek Yew, CFA, ACCA, Associate Director, Financial and Business Valuation

Derek specializes in business valuation, with over 8 years of professional experiences in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Complemented by his prior experiences in auditing and sell-side equities research, he is actively involved in the valuation of businesses, intangible assets and financial instruments for financial reporting, M&A projects and IPO exercises. Derek has conducted seminars with accounting professional bodies, as well as provided internal training to major accounting firms.

Mr Ray Leung, CFA, CPA, FRM, Manager, Financial and Business Valuation

Ray specializes in business valuation and has more than 5 years of professional experiences in Hong Kong and Mainland China. He has wide exposure in financial modelling of various sectors such as telecommunication, automobile and oil and gas. Complemented by his prior experiences in tax consultancy, buy-side equities research and portfolio management, he is actively involved in the valuation of businesses, intangible assets and financial instruments for financial reporting, M&A projects and IPO exercises.

Vincent joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2006 and has over 14 years' real estate experience in Hong Kong, Mainland China and other Asia Pacific countries. Vincent Cheung is principally involved in valuation and corporate advisory services across Asia Pacific regions. Vincent is now mainly responsible for carrying out valuations of different kinds of fixed and intangible assets and mainly specializes in performing valuations for companies seeking a listing status, investment opportunities and financing in the Asia Pacific Rim.
