AIA IS WORKING WITH FILTERED, ONLINE CPD PROVIDER

Filtered provides online CPD courses in Microsoft Office products and other essential business skills such as Leadership, Project Management and Strategy. By asking users a set of questions at the outset the platform identifies what a user does and does not need to know in each subject area. From there it creates a course unique to that needs of that individual. Teaching you just what you need to know.

Filtered works closely with Microsoft and various accounting bodies across the UK and have teamed up with the AIA to bring members access to this training and as easy and affordable way to satisfy CPD requirements.

AIA ADOPTS PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT IN RELATION TO TAXATION

AIA has been granted permission to adopt the 'Professional Conduct in Relation to Taxation.' The guidance, which has been recognised in the courts as ‘setting the standard’ for use by all tax advisers in the UK, is intended to assist and advise members on their professional conduct in relation to taxation, and particularly in the tripartite relationship between a member, client and HMRC. AIA urges all members to download and read the guidance.

WITH AIA YOU COULD BE EARNING AND LEARNING

You may already be working in the accounting or finance field.  Remember the difference in wages between an accounting technician and a Professionally Qualified Accountant are huge.

Did you realise you could qualify as a Professional  Accountant for as little as £1,325?

If you already have an accountancy degree which is accredited maximum exemptions, and you ace the exams, you could graduate in as little 6 months, reducing your costs further.

With AIA you can study in the comfort of your own home with e-books or textbooks or  join ‘Achieve’ and access our specialist team of e-tutors, who support and guide your study with feedback and advice.

NEW TREASURY CERTIFICATE OFFERS AIA MEMBERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEEPEN THEIR FINANCE EXPERTISE

As members of a global professional accountancy body, AIA members understand the value of maintaining and extending their international finance and accounting skills. With this in mind, AIA recently held discussions with the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) about its new Certificate in Treasury Fundamentals (CertTF).  Designed to be an internationally relevant base qualification in treasury for non-treasurers, the new certificate offers AIA members a structured introduction to the tools and techniques for effectively linking the business with the financial markets, broadening their finance skills and developing their outward-facing and forward-looking competencies.
