Somehow the suggestion that George Osborne is “shocked” at the tax avoidance measures used by the very wealthiest, doesn’t quite ring true.

If I recall correctly he made the point in the Budget, in defence of cutting the highest rate of tax to 45 percent, stating that some of these multi-millionaires were bragging about paying less tax than “their cleaners”.
