The Association of International Accountants (AIA), the global body for professional accountants would like to express its congratulations to Honorary FAIA Member, Professor Colin Coulson-Thomas on his 2018 CSR Lifetime Achievement Award.

Professor Coulson-Thomas received the award during the CSR Leadership Summit in New Delhi, India on the 27 April. Unfortunately Professor Coulson-Thomas was unable to attend in person, so Pradeep Chaturvedi, the Vice President of both the Institute of Directors and the World Environment Foundation kindly accepted the award on his behalf.


The award recognises Professor Coulson-Thomas’ work in “creating awareness on social issues, serving the people and excellent contribution to the worlds of Corporate Governance and Corporate Sustainability & Responsibility”. His experience spans over 30 years within leadership roles in organisations that have operated in and across India.

According to its founders and the India CSR network, the India CSR Lifetime Achievement Award is India’s most prestigious CSR award to an individual/Nominee who has an established history of distinguished service by demonstrating: a consistent track record of significant contributions in the area of CSR; exhibited leadership and provided inspiration to others in the sector and positively influenced CSR on a state, national or international level; an excellent record of publications including peer-reviewed journal papers, review articles and/or book writing.
