AIA is a member organisation of HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) Joint VAT Consultative Committee (JVCC).

The JVCC was formed with the aim of bringing together HMRC and representative trade and professional organisations.  It provides a platform for all parties to exchange views and discuss the operation of VAT policy and law, and presents the opportunity for feedback on proposed changes in the department.
