Graduates and Part-qualified Accountants

Kick-start your professional career

A degree, a technician level qualification or being part-qualified means you have an excellent foundation for embarking on and completing a professional qualification. Taking that knowledge to the next level by obtaining a specialist qualification that demonstrates to employers, clients and the general public that you have the training and skills necessary to carry out accountancy work to the highest standard.

Credit for Prior Knowledge

To avoid repetition, AIA offers students credit for prior knowledge with a range of exemptions on papers from the Foundation Level and Professional Level 1.

Contact us or access the Exemption Database to find out more.

The Skills Employers Demand

All AIA qualifications were designed after extensive research with a range of industries and stakeholders to ensure that they provide the skills employers demand, building up your knowledge bank as you move through the levels and giving you the ability to apply those key theories to practical work scenarios. You will also gain a certificate after completing each stage of the qualification, which represents your growing skills and knowledge:

Foundation Level - Certificate in Accountancy

Professional Level 1 - Diploma in Accountancy

Professional Level 2 - Advanced Diploma in Accountancy
