Degree Pathways

As graduate status is not a prerequisite to registration with AIA, we are aware that you may be keen to enhance your professional skills with a university degree. AIA has co-operated with a number of universities to agree pathways into accountancy degree programmes. AIA has advanced standing with:

MBAs

As the demand for managerial skills and knowledge has increased, so too has the number of institutions offering the Master of Business Administration (MBA). The MBA is a vocational qualification, tailored to specific business needs or to a particular business sector and the flexibility of the course is mirrored in the choice of study options available to students.

The AIA professional accountancy qualification is accepted as equivalent to a first degree for entry purposes onto an ever increasing number of full and part-time MBA programmes, both in the UK and overseas. The AIA qualification is currently accepted* by the following universities:
