The Association of International Accountants has proudly become a partner for the upcoming Accounting Excellence Awards which recognise the achievements and innovations of outstanding firms and individuals across the accounting profession.
Taking place on 08 September 2022 from the Tobacco Dock in London the event will cover 20 award categories aimed at accounting firms, individuals, teams, projects, and industry vendors from across the UK accounting industry.
Commenting on the partnership announcement Philip Turnbull, AIA Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to be named as an Accounting Excellence partner for the 2022 awards.
“We look forward to celebrating the achievements of forward thinking businesses and individuals who push boundaries and inspire performance across the accounting profession.”
This year there will be three new award categories added to the schedule, AccountingWEB Pride Award, Software Newcomer of the Year and Breakout Star of the Year Award.
Richard Hattersley, AccountingWEB Editor, added: "For over a decade the Accounting Excellence Awards have saluted progressive and high growth firms. This year, over 20 awards are up for grabs, including the fiercely competitive firm awards, four individual awards, three vendor awards, and five new categories."
"Ambitious accountants crafting their entries need to demonstrate excellence in client service, growth, and innovation over the past year through success measures such as client feedback ratings, referrals, retention, and growth indicators."
