David Potts

David Potts is Regulatory Strategy Manager at the Association of International Accountants (AIA) and is based in the AIA head office. David joined AIA in 2011 and is responsible for maintaining AIA’s international recognition and implementing the professional body’s regulatory strategies, including management of an annual review cycle in compliance with statutory regulation from regulators such as the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), the Irish Accounting and Auditing Supervisory Authority (IAASA) and the Office of the Qualifications and Examination Regulator (Ofqual). He has experience of representing AIA to international governments and stakeholders, travelling internationally and within the UK to ensure AIA’s recognition and promote the standard of AIA’s qualification.
