Be the Voice of Practitioners: Join AIA’s New Advisory Panel

Last updated: 26 Aug 2025 12:00 Posted in: AIA

The Association of International Accountants (AIA) is giving practicing members the chance to shape the future of the profession by joining its brand-new Members in Practice Advisory Panel.

The Advisory Panel will be formed from a diverse group of members who will share their insight into the realities of running a practice today. By contributing feedback on AIA’s initiatives, policies and member services, panel members will help shape the organisation’s priorities and ensure the voices of small and medium-sized firms are heard.

As a panel member, you will
:

  • Share your insight into what it means to run a practice today
  • Influence the support, services and policies AIA provides
  • Help guide our advocacy and professional development work
  • Represent the diverse voices of small and medium-sized accountancy firms
  • Enhance your profile and expand your professional network

“This is a unique opportunity for our members to step forward and help shape the future direction of AIA and the profession,” said David Potts, AIA’s Director of Policy & Regulation. “We want the Advisory Panel to reflect the breadth and diversity of our membership, and we encourage practitioners from all backgrounds to apply.”

Understanding the demands placed on practitioners, the panel has been designed to operate flexibly and on an ad hoc basis. This ensures that members can contribute their expertise without a significant time commitment.

AIA is inviting expressions of interest from practitioners who are passionate about the profession and eager to contribute to its development. If this sounds like you, please complete our short online form.

Applications are open until 30 September 2025.
