There seems to be a steady stream of new legislation and case law to contend with for payroll professionals in the UK and this year has certainly been no different. In this session Fiona Smith, from the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP), will guide you through the upcoming changes to ensure your company remains compliant.  

Some of the changes being covered include: 

  • Paternity leave 
  • Carers leave 
  • Flexible working requests 
  • Allocation of tips 
  • National Minimum wage regulations 
  • Holiday pay claim backdating Supreme Court case 

Many of these changes serve to strengthen and bolster workers right, which is obviously fantastic. However that does usually mean additional administration and financial burden for employers. Fiona will provide some tips and guidance to navigate these complexities and keep on top of your duties in the UK.
