Over recent months, there have been a number of legislative and administrative changes which directly impact all stakeholders to such an arrangement – namely the landlords, tenants and collection agents. Revenue Interaction - Tax - Gary O'Mahony, O'Hara Dolan & Co This session will provide a comprehensive overview of what is “hot” at the moment in Revenue audits and interventions. It will include detailed and practical suggestions on how to approach a Revenue “intervention” based on the Level 1/2/3 approach currently (i.e. following changes to the Code in May 2022) being followed by Revenue, as well as guidance on how to either settle with Revenue or challenge their position. This includes settlement options under the Code plus what is likely to happen if a decision is taken to appeal Revenue assessments and proceed to a Tax Appeal hearing. Ann Marie specialises in providing corporate tax advice to clients in a variety of sectors ranging from smaller individual entities to larger multinational clients who have companies across the globe.
Ann Marie has extensive experience managing the corporation tax compliance for a wide range of clients; from start-ups to medium/large multinationals and indigenous businesses. This experience covers all stages of the project from on-boarding to completion. This experience is regularly used when dealing with various stakeholders in relation to simplifying companies corporation tax process.
Jayne joined Grant Thornton in 2017 having previously worked in a leading Dublin based boutique tax practice specialising in the provision of tax and personal financial advisory services to high net worth clients for three years.
Jayne currently provides a wide range of tax advisory services to both domestic and international clients with a particular focus on the service, technology and real estate sectors where she provides tax-efficient structuring advice to clients both domestically and internationally.
Jayne also manages the corporation tax compliance for a wide range of clients ranging from indigenous to multi-national companies.
Gary is a law graduate from University College Cork (1990) and completed the post-graduate conversion course to accountancy in Dublin City University (1991) He trained with Arthur Anderson, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1994 and as a tax professional in 1995.
Gary’s practical and technical expertise in taxation is combined with a strong commercial and professional awareness built up over his thirty year career to date as a tax specialist.
David Clancy is a director of Clancy & Associates, based in Dublin. Clancy & Associates specialise in taxation and financial advice to individuals and companies.
David completed his MBA Thesis on the tax issues for family businesses and has worked with many business owners in planning their taxation and financial affairs.
David is a Fellow of the Irish Taxation Institute and has lectured extensively on taxation.
