AIA | Speaker Tammi Sinha

Dr Tammi Sinha

Senior Lecturer and Sustainability Champion, Faculty of Business, Law and Digital Technologies at Solent University. Previously Director for Climate Action at University of Winchester. 

Lean practitioner, academic and change agent working across commercial and public sectors, taking a Communities of Enquiry, Practice and Place approach to build capability in change, innovation, sustainability and improvement. Research Interests include climate action through systems thinking, circular design, operations and supply chains. She trained as an engineer, specialising in improvement and transformation practices in aerospace, manufacturing and the public sector. Most recently developing approaches to sustainable business eco systems and circular / regenerative approaches to business. Part of the BEIS drive via the Help to Grow, and previous small business leadership programme to enable SMEs to enhance their resilience, productivity and sustainability.

Dr Alberto Amore

Alberto has a PhD in Management (University of Canterbury, New Zealand), a MA summa cum laude in Tourism, Territory and Local Development (Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, Italy) and a BA in Tourism Studies (Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, Italy). He also holds a Certificate in Cultural Tourism Development (Università degli Studi di Genova, Italy) and a PGCert in Higher Education (Solent University, United Kingdom). Since 2019, he is Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. 

Alberto collaborates as peer reviewer for major journals in the field of tourism, including: Annals of Tourism ResearchTourism Management, Current Issues in Tourism, International Journal of Tourist Cities and Tourism Geographies. He is board editor for El Periplo Sustantable, Visions in Business and Leisure and the Journal of Risk and Financial Management. He is a proactive researcher with more than 40 outputs published to date on edited books, peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Alberto is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. He has a strong work ethic and multicultural awareness.

Harjinder Singh Virdee

Senior Lecturer in Economics and Construction Economics within the Faculty of Business, Accountancy and Digital Industries. He is also a Course Leader for Revo Diploma in Retail and Leisure Place Management and works closely with the Revo Educational Trust which represents the Retail Sector and is based in London. 

Harjinder has several years of teaching experience and has taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate level as well teaching to managers and senior managers on the apprenticeship degrees.

Tomasz Lasek

Lecturer in Accounting and Finance within the Faculty of Business, Law and Digital Technologies. Currently he is conducting research into the impact of ethics on capital markets as well as into corporate social responsibility.
