George Josephakis George Josephakis is a Fellow member of the AIA, a member of the AIA Council and Greece and Cyprus Branch Chairman.

George works to promote AIA in these two countries, to ensure that AIA members and students receive the recognition they deserve.

In 1996 the AIA qualification was recognised by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism in Cyprus for the purpose of audit of public companies.

This was closely followed, in 1997, with recognition by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus in the acceptance of AIA members directly into membership.

George liaises with government and regulatory authorities in Greece and Cyprus to achieve recognition of the AIA qualification, alongside pushing forward the provision of the AIA qualification and associated diplomas by technical institutes and universities in those two countries.
