Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has announced that the 2016 Budget will the be tabled in Parliament on Oct 23 and will focus on strengthening growth, enhancing inclusiveness and ensuring fiscal sustainability. The Budget will be the first budget under the 11th Malaysia Plan (11MP) which was tabled in Parliament on May 21.

Now that we have had the Queen`s speech it is back to business in the House of Commons but Mr Cameron has some urgent buttering up to do in Europe if he is to secure continued membership of the EU but with a more equitable outcome. That is his stated aim in spite of guaranteeing a referendum on membership. Of all the announcements Her Majesty made about Her Government, this has the greatest potential to change the course of the UK economy but would it be for better or for worse if Britain were to leave Club Europe?
