The Association of International Accountants (AIA), Singapore Branch held their 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Swatow Seafood Restaurant, Singapore on 28 June 2018.
During the event the AIA Singapore branch office bearers and committee members for 2018/19 were elected/re-elected. It is with pleasure that the office bearers can now be confirmed as;

Commenting on his re-election as AIA Singapore Branch President, Mr Tony Loke, said: “It is with great honour that I take on the position of branch president for another year.
“Our success in Singapore is in no small part due to the tireless work of members and the Management Committee who have volunteered their time, energy and expertise in actively participating and forging ahead with the relevant task force, initiatives and activities undertaken by the Singapore Branch.
“I would like to express my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the enthusiasm and support of our Management Committees and members, past and present, for their invaluable roles and assistance to the local branch in fulfilling its objectives, upholding the principles and high standards of the International Accountants designation.”
Adding his congratulations, AIA Chief Executive, Philip Turnbull said: “Tony has worked tirelessly on behalf of the AIA for many years, and I am delighted he has been re-elected as branch president for another year.
“In order to remain at the leading edge of the accountancy profession we have invested significant resources over the last 12 months into our infrastructure in the form of a new CRM database, which we firmly believe will allow us to enhance our overall customer centric approach to members and students around the globe.”
